Did you know that ‘walkie talkies’ are simply out of the box unlicensed PMR 446 two way radio equipment? Sussex Communications provides commercial PMR two-way business licenced radio equipment hire. That might all sound a bit formal, but it just means that the radio equipment needs an Ofcom business licence and then you have access to a powerful 5 watts of hand-portable transmission. That’s over 4 times the power of an unlicensed walkie-talkie, giving truly professional clear audio sound, so it’s well worth it.
Don’t worry if you do not already have a licence as we have an Ofcom business suppliers licence for 2 way radio hire purposes.
Our standard radio equipment hire package includes 5 pre-programmed radio channels for you to use. Each channel is set to provide two-way communications between all hand-portables at the same time. If you experience any interference you can change channels.
Why buy when you can spread your radio rental costs and hire? You can also be flexible with your quantities. As your needs change, so can your order. There’s no capital outlay – only pay for what you use and hire on a weekly, monthly, annual or special event basis. All hire equipment is 100% tax deductible.
